This is the personal website of William Hascall. Will is a moderately blind man who has tried to do many things. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology from California State University, Chico. He holds a General class Amateur Radio license and participates in SKYWARN™ and the Amateur Radio Emergency Service, ARES, as Public Information Officer as well as the Net Manager for Wood County.
Will is starting a new career path by graduating the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point in the fall of 2010. He studied Political Science, Public Administration & Policy Analysis. He has always been interested in the workings of government and has stressed to people how important it is to them to be an active participant in their community and government. Afterall, if you are not actively involved, how then can your representatives understand your preferences?
On this website, you will find writing and other projects that Will has done over the years. He keeps this domain because for many years he unsuccessfully tried to make it as a small business owner. It is a reminder that to try and fail is better then not trying at all, no matter what your disability or financial state in life.

Got Linux?
Will Hascall has used many operating systems since 1988 when he started using computers regularly. He's used Mac OS, Unix/Linux, Windows and a few others over the years. Recently, due to troubles caused by Windows XP, Mr. Hascall has switched to using Linux on all his computers, only using Windows when he absolutely can't find the software for Linux.
